I'm Stephanie, a twenty-something author living on the West Coast. I'm a lover of many a quirky and dramatic TV show, any combination of chocolate and peanut butter, and adventures in faraway places.

 

I first decided I wanted to be an author when I was in second grade, sitting in a book club drinking tea and devouring books like The Egypt Game. At the ripe age of twelve, I began querying my first novel. Seven years of rejection and re-writes later, as a 19-year-old college student generally fumbling to figure out what to do with my life if writing didn't work out, I landed a literary agent and a three-book deal for my debut novel. Talk about a sigh of relief.
